Google

Google is a US technology services company founded in 1998 in Silicon Valley, California by Larry Page and Sergeï Brin.

Google's mission is "to organize information globally and make it universally accessible and useful.

The company then made many acquisitions and developments and today owns many notable software and websites including Youtube, the operating system for Android mobile phones, as well as other services such as Google Earth, Google Maps or Google Play.

Google is one of the largest companies in the Internet market and technology companies. With Apple, Facebook and Amazon, it is part of the "Big Four" (the "big four", also called GAFA). In 2011, Google had a fleet of over 900,000 servers, up from 400,000 in 2006.

Google Garage is the 1st historic headquarters where Google was founded on September 4, 1998 at 232 Santa Margarita, Menlo Park, California.
